Wied Investments believes that real estate plays a critical role in the success or failure of cities, neighborhoods, and communities in general. Without quality housing, community members don't feel engaged or interested in improving their surroundings. Don't get us wrong, we're a for-profit business. We just believe that, while we're trying to better our business, we should also be trying to better our neighborhoods as well. Because of this belief, we try to pursue opportunities that have a positive impact on the cities we live in.

What are We Up to?

 

Most construction companies slow down when the weather gets cold. We have never been busier! Construction is in full swing on our 3rd Farnam St house, a high-end bathroom remodel, plans for our next home plus discussions with potential clients for new custom homes!

921 Farnam St shares the block with 2 other brand new homes we built last year. This 4 bedroom, 2 bath home is 2,300 sqft over two levels (basement and 1st floor) and will have a detached two car garage. This home will have hardwood floors throughout the 1st floor as well as a large kitchen with an island and quartz countertops. We will be using spray foam insulation to keep the home super energy-efficient. This home is also approved for a La Crosse Promise Grant of up to $50,000. The interior will be modern-style.

Coulee Region Adventure

 

We are currently doing a lot of work in the Powell-Poage-Hamilton neighborhood in La Crosse with a focus on improving the neighborhood's value for the rest of the city. We are also doing work in Onalaska and working on plans for several La Crosse area projects.

We work in the greater La Crosse area as well as Madison, WI.
